The days of pirates and smugglers are long gone in Cornwall but there is a modern day treasure which people will be coming from far and wide to seek out…a well-crafted, golden hazy pint. Fancy hunting for the illusive perfect pint?
The Falmouth Beer Trail, 23rd and 24th September 2023, is a treasure hunt for beer lovers with some of the freshest and best brews the UK beer scene has to offer. The trail is now in it’s 11th year and we are stoked to be part of an exciting line-up of breweries.
It’s about the journey not the destination
Well, it’s a bit of both at the Falmouth Beer Trail. As you amble through the scenic streets of Falmouth you will be taken on a journey of beer discovery as you stop at six different destinations through the town; The Working Boat, Underland (The Chintz), Lauter Bottleshop, The Cornish Bank, The Front, and The Seafood Bar. You will find us at The Seafood Bar alongside Overtone and Verdant – the chief organisers of the epic trail.
Each venue will be offering an outstanding selection, from crispy Lagers to fruited Sours, as well as juicy IPAs and classic Pale Ales. We are busy getting kegs of our finest brews ready for the upcoming weekend. We will be pouring Dope, Acid Trip and Nectaron Citra Deluxe.
More than just a beer trail
The Falmouth Beer Trail is a very special event. As Jonny, owner of Pipeline Brewing Co explains, “If you are a craft beer brewer you put your heart and soul into every fresh batch of beer. To bring together passionate brewers and people who really appreciate our beers is something special. It’s a joy to celebrate each other’s creativity and see the fruits of our labour being enjoyed.”

A free after-party is planned on Saturday 23rd September at The Cornish Bank from 11pm, with many of the invited brewers joining the trail participants for some good times, good beers and good music in the heart of Falmouth.
